Smile Angels (Our Volunteers)
We are pleased to announce our Smile Angels Hall of Fame. This is where we will celebrate those volunteers that have made incredible contributions to Million Dollar Smiles.
We commend all of our volunteers for their amazing contributions no matter how much time they are able to donate. We see their altruistic efforts as a wonderful gift. Sometimes we have Smile Angels that go above and beyond. These are special people who continuously surprise us with what they are able to accomplish for Million Dollar Smiles and our community. They have full time jobs yet still seem to be able to pull off amazing feats of philanthropy. We are extremely lucky to have them as part of our Team.
 Playground Smile Angels for 2011

Each of these volunteers participated in 9 out of 10 of our playground builds to date. As volunteer leaders they have been responsible for ensuring the playground kits are delivered to each location as well as organizing the teams building the playgrounds. We are thrilled to have each of them as integral parts of our volunteer team and honour them for their dedication to Million Dollar Smiles.
Halloween Gala Fundraising – Smile Angel for 2011
For the 2011 Halloween Gala we had tremendous volunteer participation. Everyone on the gala fundraising team gave 100% by selling tickets to the event, gathering door prizes, setting up the hall and then raising money at the event.
We would like to make special mention of one volunteer that exceeded all expectations with her efforts for this event.
 Vicki Arciero
For this years’ event Vicki was responsible for obtaining the majority of the prizes for the silent auction and raffles. She worked diligently every day, canvassing her contacts and asking for their participation. Vicki’s hard work and passion for Million Dollar Smiles paid off. She sold over 130 tickets totaling $9,750 and personally sold over 20 bear sponsorships at $100.00 each.
We celebrate Vicki’s amazing accomplishments. She is an inspiration to all of us and a Smile Angel extraordinaire! |
